ANNA'S STORY

One of the first things I thought about was my hair.  I had very thin, shoulder length hair and was convinced it would all go.

HENNI'S STORY

While the hair loss hasn't been too much of an issue for me on the whole, it's definitely something that is difficult to talk about openly.

PENNY'S STORY

I decided instead of sometimes hiding behind my hat to embrace my bald head and to attend my first ever Headwrappers class and become creative with the head wraps that I was given and already had and learnt new ways to use and accessorise.

JULIE'S STORY

I felt like I had been kidnapped from my real life and transported into a horror movie where I was diagnosed with cancer.

JOY'S STORY

Fourteen years ago, after being diagnosed with breast cancer, it very quickly dawned on me that the treatment meant I was going to lose my hair.  I could cope with the cancer but the thought of all my hair falling out filled me with dread. Thank goodness I’d had heard of the scalp cooling system from a friend because my medical team made no mention of it.

TARA'S STORY

I didn’t start losing my hair until probably fourteen days after my first chemo treatment.
